Henry nodded and picked his way through the pikachu like a cat walking through dew. Despite his best efforts, at least two more were climbing him by the time they were all standing on the kitchen tile.
"I didn't pay attention to the weather report...how long is this supposed to last? What are we going to say when someone comes home to find all of this?"
Henry stated this plainly and without bias. Almost without realizing it, he reaches down to pat one of the shivering Pikachus attached to his right knee.
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean everyone needs to know."
The Pikachu are all beginning to really gather in around them from where they were scattered around the living room before, making the kitchen floor look more like some kind of moving yellow carpet than linoleum. Envy looks down at the squeaking horde.
"...maybe. Do we have enough treats? I don't want to start giving them anything if we don't have enough."
Henry gave a thoughtful hum. He knew what he had to do.
"Be right back."
The taller man retreated back into the gloomy house, Pikachu and all, and much thumping around is heard. Finally he returns with a humorously large bag of Dodritos.
"If they all get one each that should be enough."
As he speaks, his voice is tight. This is quite the sacrifice he's making here.

He gestured to the sea of yellow rats.
"What if more come in when they open the door?"

Envy stops and takes a moment to wring his hair over the sink. Ugh, it's going to take forever to dry...
"We can just tell them what happened...sort of. In a way that makes it sound less like I fell out the window."

"Think they're hungry?"

The Dodritos.
"I'll buy you a new one."

"Alright, everyone, line up. If you know what a line is. You're rats. I don't know."
Thunder cracks overhead again. Somewhere down the street, a pair of Houndoom start yowling.
"It's going to be a long night."
