[Just a couple of days ago, Jimmy had been screaming on the network how much he didn't like this guy. Today, he's been set by this gnawing need to call him up and just blather at him. It's the weirdest damn thing. And it gets worse as the day goes on, until Jimmy's grinding his teeth and tapping his clawtips against every available surface when he isn't pacing - trailed by a curious line of Pokemon.]

[He can't help it. He has to call Envy and just tell him about how he grew up.]

[So he does.]

[Envy isn't entirely sure he wants to pick up the 'Gear, seeing who was calling him. He really doesn't want to talk to Jimmy, he'd be perfectly happy never talking to the man again.]

[But if he's done something ELSE to piss the guy off, he wants to at least get a chance to argue back.]

[His eyes are narrowed and there's a suspicous little frown on his face when he picks up.]

[Well....this was definitely not what he was expecting. He's surprised enough to actually stay quiet and listen to what Jimmy's saying, at least.]

[Which means that it's not likely that he'll get left alone even if he hangs up now, even if he'd much rather just roll his eyes and say he doesn't care. Instead, he crosses one arm with a frown and settles into place to hear out whatever this is going to be, but he's not expecting much.]

Shit. I dunno. My people, we're...we're not people, back where I come from. Normal folks don't think we are, you know? Just 'cause we're different. So we're...we're pretty tight knit. Look out for each other. We gotta. And before I came here there...there was some accidents, and stuff. I couldn't protect people I was supposed to.

And I...I saw that in Wrath. And I think of him like family. Someone who needs looking out for...
