Eighth Transformation [video/action if you can find him] [BACKDATED to evening on Christmas]
[When the video feed switches on, the camera situated near the floor. There is clearly a Pokemon filming this discreetly. A listener will be able to hear a piano being played; it's a slow, almost sad melody, but the player has clearly performed the piece countless times. However, said player is not yet in view, the camera-Pokemon choosing instead to pan around at the scenery. It's a somewhat musty, cluttered music shop from the looks of things. The owner is at the front counter listening, apparently having decided not to attend the festival. The camera finally turns towards the piano itself, revealing Envy as the musician. There are green earmuffs and a similar colored scarf around his neck, and under that one might catch a glint of gold chain. On the bench beside him lie a pair of black gloves, and some sort of colorful bauble is partially poking out of a coat pocket.]
[As for his expression, it's almost unreadable, although there's a look in his eyes that hints this music as something familiar and very old, although not dear. After a minute or two more, however, his fingers still. He's still looking right ahead at the blank place where a sheet of music would go, and an almost wry smirk briefly crosses his face before he mutters--]
Yeah, Leo. I can play something happy, if you want.
[The words don't so much sound as though he's lost it and has started talking to a voice in his head, but more like this is some sort of reliving of memory. He pauses to think for a moment, before starting into another song. As he plays this one, anyone still watching will catch sight of something very rare: Envy actually looks genuinely happy. No smirks or teasing grins, just a small smile. At the end of the song, the smile fades, and he closes the lid over the keys so that he can rest an elbow on it to prop up his chin. He looks a little frustrated with himself, a little wistful, and his next words are barely audible.]
Heh. Guess I really am pathetic sometimes.
[With the little concert over, the feed ends.]

You'd think I would have more in common with Tulio, but you're so full of jealousy that it might be you who's closer to the monster. Maybe you should stop to think about where you're headed with that rage of yours before you wind up like me. You don't appreciate what you've got, human.
I am a human, just like you said! I'm lucky if I live to see the next day! I appreciate what I've got EVERY SINGLE DAY, because if I don't, I DIE! And the one single thing I always appreciates the most is Tulio!
[He pauses, glaring at Envy with narrowed eyes. When he speaks again his voice is bated, although still full of rage]
But you don't understand, cause apparently you're not human...
That's right, I'm not human. I'm a monster that shouldn't even exist at all. Homunculi don't have friends, homunculi can't because we aren't supposed to have souls. Leo didn't love me but it doesn't matter because it's not as though I could have returned the feeling. My own damn creator didn't want me, nobody ever fucking has in four hundred years. And I've kept going.
Are you telling me that even if Tulio had somehow managed to not want to be your friend anymore just because he also likes someone else, that you could never have made another friend in your life? Did you two meet her living by herself on a deserted island?
He's never even mentioned her, the only person he seemed to want to find here was you. And you're so busy worrying that he'll somehow choose a troublesome, soulless doll of a creature that you don't even seem to notice or care that you. Are. Wanted.
[When he finally speaks, his voice is low and devoid of anger]
...is it any wonder that I worry?
If you could... wouldn't you?
But I can't. There's a reason my master named me Envy.
[He turns away from the camera, and taps at a the piano keys in a simple, nonsense melody. For all his immaturity, there are times when his age shows. He's given up on being angry for now, he just looks old and lonely.]
He stopped by here a while ago, looking for you. I don't know where he went after that.
I.. I guess I'll go looking for him.
[plink plink plink go the piano keys. After a few moments Envy speaks up again, without looking at the camera.]
I knew it was you already, when I offered to show you how to play.
[video] uuuurgh aaaaawkward
Oh... [Miguel has no idea what to think or say right now.]
