_{[Ring ring ring! Ring ring ring! Psyduck had toddled a little way away from the camp she and JW spent the afternoon setting up. He's passed out in his sleeping bag and hasn't retracted her into her ball. While it's boring in there, at least she can heal.]

[Psyduck rubs a scratch on her beak as she waits for the call to pick up. Oh, how she misses that nice man with the funny hair.]}

[For better or worse for Psyduck, the funny haired man isn't who answers.]

[Most of Envy's Pokemon haven't exactly known what to do about their trainer keeping more and more to himself these days. Juliet hasn't either, but she's not really a guardian type like Chimera, or sweet or encouraging like some of the others. But what she IS is fed up. She's never messed with the Pokegears before, but she does know what button picks up a call, and if her trainer won't answer, then...]

[Oh. Hm. That isn't another human. The Vaporeon looks down on the screen, expression unreadable but trending towards annoyed. So much for her plan to make Envy socialize like he used to.]

And who are you?

_{[Psyduck's eyes widen when Juliet appears. She's never seen a Vaporeon before. She's not sure how to act around other Pokemon.]}

Oh! Oh gosh, uhm. I'm Psyduck. Gosh. Is...is your Trainer around?

[Juliet probably isn't helping--her expression doesn't really change, except for blinking her big black eyes and twitching one earfin.]

[So this wasn't a misdial? Hmmm.]

Not at the moment. Were you trying to call him on purpose?

Uh--uh--yes...

_{[Psyduck suddenly looks guilty. She sits down so she can better prop up the Poke'Gear.]}

I was lonely and--your Trainer is so nice!

_{[But it doesn't look like Nice Hair Man was coming and she doesn't want this pretty blue Pokemon to feel bad so Psyduck scrambles for her manners.]}

W-what's your name?

[Juliet's been around since almost the beginning, she knows her trainer very well. So hearing him suddenly described as "so nice" catches her off guard enough for her to look surprised and crinkle her nose in amusement--about as close to a startled laugh as she really gets.]

[Not that the expression stays for long, but she does seem a little bit warmer as she nods a greeting. Psyduck's manners certainly didn't hurt either!]

Juliet. I didn't realize you'd met my trainer--you are lonely even with your own?

[She doesn't sound disbelieving, not all trainers clean up their act like hers did.]

_{[Psyduck fumbles the 'Gear around to show JW's graceful snoozing form near the fire.]}

He's asleep...he didn't put me back in my ball.

_{[Psyduck is glad that Juliet can't see her very embarrassed face right now. She had to be the worst at being a Pokemon.]}

I see.

[There's a lot of questions coming up here. Juliet tilts her head, thinking. Hm...this child isn't about to get Adopted, but she can't help feeling a little for the poor thing.]

And I suppose you don't sleep well at night. I suppose I could talk with you for a little while.

[She's not a warm doting Pokemon, but she'll look out for Psyduck in her own formal, calm way.]

_{[Psyduck flips the Poke'Gear back around and hugs it to her feathery chest.]}

Thank you! Ahh! Oops!

_{[REAL SMOOTH, PSYDUCK. She pulls the little camera back and tries to think of all the things she's ever wanted to ask other Pokemon that weren't Hot Stuff.]}

You're blue...are you a water-type? Are you good at swimming? Can you hold your breath for a long time! I'm trying to get better but we don't go near the water much. I think Trainer is scared of it.

[Her tone is completely even--if she can manage a semi-feral baby Aerodactyl, she can manage an excited Psyduck.]

I am a Vaporeon, so yes, a water type. I can breathe in the water perfectly well, just as easily as air.

[Hmmm, she's not entirely happy to hear that a water type isn't getting enough time near the water, though.]

Hm. I don't see why he should keep you away from it. He doesn't have to join you.

Wowww! Just like air? You could stay down there all day, I bet! The bottom of the ocean must be so pretty. I saw it on a post card!

_{[Psyduck's spirits lift a little. ONE DAY she's going to find a pearl. She swears it.]}

I think...Trainer is scared of a lot of stuff, actually.

_{[She knits her brows together thoughtfully as she watches JW twitch in his sleep.]}
