Oh, yeah, that's exactly what we need at the house.
What's everywhere? Human furniture volunteers?
Heather and I aren't going to come back to a house full of that, are we?

No! Hungry men. And boys.
You may find some in the yard, I've heard that can happen.
Good god, one of them won't even call me by my name, he can't manage it. He turns into a flustered mess.

Don't you usually have an infestation of those, though?
I mean, it's kind of your thing to have a small cloud of them at all times.
What's he call you, then? 'Hey you'?

Honestly? It's been some time.
'Miss'. I've never had anyone
argue
with me over my name before. Question, good god, once a week at least. But not argue.
Does anyone ever bother
you
about it?

Nobody's ever
refused
to call me by mine.
It's a tossup. Sometimes people don't seem to think anything's weird about it, sometimes I'll get weird looks or questions or people being
concerned
. I usually just tell 'em that my mother had a weird sense of humor and that I like my name.
Which is true.

No one ever thought it was odd before here.
Yes, I just tell them someone thought it was amusing. That sometimes stops the questions and concerns. I suppose it's the associations.

Funny, isn't it? Back when we needed to be stealthy, nobody ever gave a damn. Now we don't need to be, and suddenly everyone's got questions.
I guess it's technically better than the other way around.
And yeah, probably. People get mad when
Pokemon
get named after anything less than nice, much less people.

I never once had my name questioned before this place. I don't understand it. With all the worlds all the peoples here come from...
Oh well, at least it's been a while since anyone assumed I was a prostitute.
