66th Transformation [FOURTH WALL]

[Wherever you are, in a city or on the road, you may find yourself being approached by a stranger. This stranger doesn’t look like Envy, but like some random local trainer. And, true to form, he stomps up to you, one pokeball out as though he’s about to challenge you to a battle.]

[And then he stops, and in a flash of white light becomes THIS, complete with dancing. Music starts playing along from the bushes, courtesy of a helper Zoroark with a stereo. Who told Envy about rickrolls??]

[Yes, this is how he is choosing to spend his weekend.]

[The pettings continue, and Frisk leans a little against Lilith in return.]

[Their eyes go wide when Envy changes again, and suddenly they're torn. They really, really wanna pet Envy, but Lilith clearly hasn't been pet enough yet! A DILEMMA.]

Oh my gosh, you're so fluffy!

[Envy grins, at least as much as a lion's face can grin, and transforms again. Just his mane.]

[Just to add several more pounds of fluff. MAJESTIC.]

[Hope you wanted a small laughing child jumping into your mane, Envy, because that is exactly what you're getting.]

[Oh hell he hadn't expected them to jump right on in there augh--okay. Okay, he can still work with this. He spent the last half of October carrying people around in his hair, he can deal with this.]

[He tries to crane his head back to see where they are exactly. Lilith is just snickering unhelpfully.]

[Frisk squirms around in the Fluff of Doom before finally popping their head back out, having settled to sit astride just behind Envy's neck. They point forward dramatically!]

[He is now this small child's war steed. Somehow. Within five minutes of meeting them.]

[How the fuck.]

[On the other hand, there's still showing off to be done.]

[Bunching his hind legs, he takes off running at top homunculus speed.]

Hang on, kid!

[Shhhhh. This is the friend date. Just accept your fate.]

[Frisk squeals and hangs on tight to his mane, laughing and leaning forward close to keep out of most of the wind. THIS IS SO AWESOME!!!]

Faster, faster!

[CLEARLY HE HAS NO CHOICE, BECAUSE THIS KID'S MAGIC OR SOMETHING.]

[But he's having fun and it's one of these weekends, so he won't question it too hard.]

[What he will do is jump right up and over one of those big ledges, cackling all the way.]

[Frisk laughs and hoots and hollers, thoroughly enjoying this headlong race down ALL THE ROUTES. But eventually they remember that there is something they're supposed to be doing, and pats Envy's head to get his attention.]

Hey, d'you know where to find someone? I gotta find my mom!

[Envy slows to a stop so he can hear what they're saying when they pat his head, turning his head around again.]

[Finding their mom isn't his problem, but eh, probably couldn't hurt to let the kid stick with him for a little while longer.]

Well, what's she look like? It's not easy to find anyone on these days.

[Frisk doesn't bother sitting up, just staying laid over his neck.]

Um...well she's real tall and nice and wears a mumu, and she's a goat.

Nah, the only monsters I know are all related to me, and none of 'em look like that.
