[This feed goes up not too long after midnight; Envy had just meant to take a quick walk, maybe stop by the Pokemart…]

[That's not what wound up happening.]

[The video shows him huddled under the awning of a shop, with a strange catlike Pokemon clinging to the top of his head and staring with wide, traumatized eyes at the 'Gear. It's kneading at the top of Envy's head and purring anxiously. The dark around him is full of light thumps and mews as things that are much larger than raindrops land on the ground and on top of the awning.]

[Envy just looks a mix of incredibly annoyed and even more incredibly baffled. There are little cat scratches all up and down his arms, shoulders, and even a few on his face. He is studiously ignoring the cat on his head. He already tried getting it off. It didn't work.]

Okay, there's no hurricane this time so what the hell is going on? I haven't even seen this kind of cat-thing before!

[He mutters as an afterthought:] At least it's not sharks.

They're everywhere!

The poor things don't seem to like falling from the sky anymore than we like them falling on us.

They really don't.

Have you seen the looks on all their faces? Every single one of them looks like this.

[He points to the one on his head for emphasis.]

They look like they were rescued too late from a war zone.

[...snrk.]

I wonder what the hell is causing this?

Oh who the hell knows, maybe they fell through the Pokemon Gate.

I'm keeping one.

Ha! That'd certainly explain how they look.

[Envy rolls his eyes and sighs with exaggerated frustration, frowning up at the one on his head.]

I don't think I get a choice about keeping one. Did you already find yours?

No, that one's keeping you.

[Lust bends down out of the frame for a moment and lifts up a quivering Espurr]

He fell into my sleeping bag and didn't leave.

I guess it is. Yours doesn't look like it wants to go anywhere else either.

I'd say it was a bad time to be stuck out on the routes, but I'm in a town and I'm not much better off.

[He glances out at the Espurr rain around him again.]

Where are you and Greed now, anyway?

No, I don't think he does.

Oh, we've made it past Mt. Moon. We're making good time, even with taking it slow.

I've never been over there, is there anything interesting?

I mean, besides the cats that are happening right now, those don't count.

[The one on his head mews. She counts! She's not sure what she counts as but she does!]

Actually, yes. The caves are well worth exploring in depth. Greed and I had ourselves quite a little adventure in the mountain.

[She really can't help but smile at the memory. It had been a memorable night, after all.]

They are endearing little things, aren't they?

An adventure, huh? You'll have to tell me about that now, you realize.

[He grins, and then shrugs at the next thing she says.]

I guess I'm getting used to it.

Let's just say it fell under the category of 'Magical'. Or as close as reality offers.

[Between the nighttime spelunking and the Clefairies and the aftermath, Lust definitely thinks it counts as one of those things people refer to as 'magical'.]

[He also might be reaching up to give the Espurr a brief scritch behind the ears. Just maybe.]

There are Pokemon that live in the mountain, I don't think they come out much. They let us spend time in their caves with them.

We had a...very nice night.

[He's just teasing, with a laugh in his voice.]

What sort of Pokemon?

Oh, calm your imagination. Nothing explicit happened.

Clefairies.

[He snorts.]

Trust me, even if you guys were getting up to things, they are going completely unimagined by me.

Oh, is that where they usually live? I've got one of those.

[He snickers and tilts his chin up, posturing.]

I'd tell you, but I'm afraid they're far too twisted for anybody else's ears.

I don't have him with me, but next time I see you I'll introduce you to Charon. He's...enthusiastic.

[And yes he did name a pink marshmallow after the ferryman of the dead he should not be allowed to name anything.]

I'd likely never sleep again. My poor maidenly heart couldn't take it.

[She laughs outright then.]

Oh, do. I enjoyed the time I spent with his cousins in the mountain.

Exactly. So I'd better keep it all a secret. Wouldn't want you to faint.

[He's laughing too now.]

Let me guess, there was dancing involved? Because mine hardly wants to do anything else at night.

My own vivid imagination can fill in the blanks.

There was dancing! It's funny, I don't think I've ever actually just danced before.

When did we ever have the time for something like that before?

You didn't happen to get any funny pictures of Greed dancing with the adorable marshmallows, did you?

We never had time for most things.

Maybe I did and maybe I didn't. You'll have to wait and see.
