55th Transformation [video/text/action for Violet]
[The feed comes on to show the face of a very nervous and harried looking Yamask, holding the 'Gear and looking over his "shoulder". From somewhere offscreen, there's a whole lot of impatient-sounding hissing. Which, for any Pokemon listening in, would translate as:]
Come on, hurry it up!
[The Yamask flinches a little and turns the camera away from himself to show an Arbok and a Serperior, coiled side by side and each looking as impressively cool and collected as they can manage. And decidedly not looking at each other. The Serperior is a shiny, and that gives him an impressive glittering gleam from his tail to his smugly turned up nose. And the Arbok, while not shiny herself, still has every purple scale polished and almost gleaming, and her hood flared out as much as she can get it. The camera lingers on the two of them while they pose and sway to catch the sun on their scales just right. After a little while of this, the Arbok nods curtly and the video swings back around to the Yamask, who fumbles it some before cutting off so that he can send out a text message.]
Hello, my friends here had a question for any trainers who would like to answer. Which of them looks the best?
[And so they bullied this poor guy into doing the camera-work and writing the message for them. If anyone in Violet stumbles across the trio of Pokemon on the outskirts of town, they'll find the two big snakes hissing arguments between themselves and crowding around the Yamask so they can see the answers.]

text;
Thank you for answering! She would also like to know what it is that makes her stand out more.
If that wouldn't be too much trouble.
[This is a much more polite translation of what said Arbok was all but demanding.]
text;
Because arrogance isn't becoming, and the Serperior has that in spades.
text;
fdsssdddd
,jhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,,,,,,ssssssssssss
[Yeah there's...a bit of a disagreement over the 'Gear happening. One where one of the participants doesn't have arms and can't type.]
text;
Hello?
text;
Which I think might be for the best. Now he is telling me to reply for him, which he should have done in the first place.
[Aristaeos also can't really read and Edmund knows it.]
He says that he is perfectly becoming.
text;
If you like, you can tell him that the decision was a close call.
text;
text;
He's one of those rare, oddly-colored types, isn't he?
text;
text;
Though that might have something to do with the fact that his odd coloring is...somewhat less attractive than the natural hue.
text;
That's a ghost-type Pokemon using Envy's 'Gear.
That's a ghost. Envy has a ghost Pokemon. Why does Envy have a ghost Pokemon, what the hell is wrong with him?
He's so disturbed he's tempted to completely ignore the feed since it's not like he's spoken to Envy since their fight anyway, but.
What is even going on. Of all of them, Envy has the most reason to not want to go anywhere near that sort of thing and even then it's pretty much equaled by the fact that as a group they're collectively pretty touchy about the whole dead things being owned.. thing.
But he's stared at this for long enough without reply, he might as well say something if only because not doing anything will probably end in him being even more massively uncomfortable than he already is.]
The both look pretty cool.
Why's the one all sparkly?
text;
[Edmund has no idea who Greed is or that he's uncomfortable, he's mainly concerned with keeping the 'Gear from being broken by the two snakes. Who are now bickering over which one of them Greed will pick.]
text;
Refusing to pick either will also make them mad, probably. But he can't help it. They both look really cool. This is Envy's fault, not his. Obviously.]
Well, the sparkly one is very cool and all, but the other one is also quite beautiful. I don't know. I think they both have their strengths.
[Very helpful, Greed.]
text;
I would agree with you, but they're very competitive. I don't see why they need to be.
[Especially when he gets dragged into it.]
text;
[...Are his Pokemon this competitive when he's not around?]
Maybe they both just like attention.
[G R E E D]
text;
That might be it. I don't really understand it, but...well, maybe they just take after our trainer that way.
text;
...then again, the ones that he's hand raised have already started to pick up on his mannerisms so that's less a potshot and more something Greed has observed himself.]
They do this kind of thing often?
text;
Usually they're just showing off to the rest of the team though. Not so, um. Publicly.
text;
That's... pretty great, actually. Hopefully Greed doesn't ever end up with one that can communicate on the network. Though with his luck he will. And it'll be the one who wants to show off.]
Here's to hoping it's a fair competition?
text;
[...not that he knows they're broadcasting to the network, or picking on Edmund.]
I hope so...I'm tallying the votes for them though, I don't know how they could cheat.
text;
I'd be more worried about them accusing you of messing with the tallies if anything.
Maybe I'm just being paranoid.
[Action]
Well -
[She says that loudly enough to attract their attention before dropping her tone back to her usual, deliberately provocative purr.]
I don't think it matters. Trainers won't know true beauty.
[Action]
[Ouroboros simply flicks the end of her tail before coiling up. She looks almost huffy; she can tell mocking when she sees it.]
Maybe not, but we weren't asking you.
[Aristaeos is looking down his nose at her...but then again, he does that to everyone. Part of being a Serperior. And if Ouroboros is being huffy and dismissive, then well. He'll have to do the opposite out of spite.]
I don't know, maybe she has a point. Why don't you tell us which of us looks better, then?
[Action]
No, just the peanut gallery.
[Now, Aristaeos, that's more along the lines of what she wanted to hear! Thérèse rakes her gaze over him lasciviously, her tail flicking lazily at the grass.]
Well, no one can deny the inherent uniqueness of a shiny like yourself. So many creatures are little more than a dime a dozen. But -
[Her gaze slides to Ouroboros, who receives the same, slow once over.]
The power of both of your forms: my, it is very appealing.
[She sighs dramatically, muscles relaxing as if in mock-flustered repose.]
How am I to decide when presented with such similar forms? Is it only your colours that differ? Am I doomed to be made to create an opinion with only the superficial?
[Action]
And what would help you form an opinion, then?
[Ouroboros' hood flares out more, and she gives him a glare.]
I don't see why we need her opinion.
[Behind her, Edmund nearly squeaks; this situation is one he really doesn't want to be in the middle of, but he can't just leave. What if they all started causing trouble? He has to stay here and be responsible, even if the lot of them outlevel him!]
[text]
I've never seen the green one before. Kind of looks like something on a grandma's shelf if grandmas collected snakes.
[That's not what they asked, Henry.]
[text]
He says he's not surprised you haven't, because he's a very rare kind of Pokemon.
[text]
man this is so trippy that pokemon know how to speak english
i mean. i know you can understand us perfectly but i guess you just cant make the sounds huh?
[text]
What is english?
[He just went ahead and told Ouroboros that Henry voted for her. He likes her better anyway.]
[text]
its weird
i mean when you guys talk it just sounds like oddish oddish oddish over and over.
[text]
What is the region you're from called? It starts with 'Eng' I assume, and...there aren't any Pokemon there?
[text]
it was called America
text;
I'll have to say the Serperior. All personal opinion, of course.
text;
Thank you for your answer! And of course.
Yukio, isn't it?
text;
That's right. It's been a while, Edmund. How are you?
text;
Did you get the package I sent for Christmas? It was a while ago, but I don't use the pokegear much...
text;
It's the first thing I did when I got to Goldenrod.
About your Christmas present, I did get it. I'm sorry I never properly thanked you for it. I wasn't sure how to get in touch with your trainer.
[text]
Gosh I dunno, they both look great! I think any trainer would agree with me, too.
[text]
There's really not one of them you think looks better?
[He already tried to pull 'you both get a point' with Greed he's not sure if it will work again. Please save this poor ghost Jimmy.]
[text]
[Jimmy takes another minute to look the two over, replaying the video again before responding.]
Well it's kinda hard cause I've never seen an Arbok or a Serperior before until now! So they both look really cool!
[text]
Are you new to Johto, maybe?
[Serpreriors aren't very common, but Arboks are natives, so maybe he can use that to save himself from annoyed giant snakes.]
