39th Transformation [video/action for travelmates]

[The feed opens on a pleased looking Zoroark curled on the floor of an inn, and a Houndoom wearing sunglasses that's sitting next to her and looking very proud of himself, his tail whapping against the floor. As for the reason why, there are a trio of red and black eggs sitting in between the front paws of the Zoroark. She's clearly showing them off for the camera.]

I've got a problem. You see… [The camera turns around to show Envy, who is putting on a fantastic act of 'oh whatever will I do'.] I've got these eggs, and as amazing as the Pokemon they'll hatch into are going to be, I can't take care of three more of them.

[He sighs, shrugs, and then grins.] But I figure some of you would be happy to own one of these, so I'm going to be selling them. They'll be one thousand each.

[Translation: Someone take these eggs he doesn't want them. He turns the camera back around to focus on the eggs and their mother again before the feed ends. Come on, surely you want something so cool, right?]

Sold one of them to a girl from my world, Winry. But the other two went to people I didn't know.

What's your world like? _{[Asked sorta carefully, cause they've never really talked about this?]}

[He's sort of surprised by the question. They haven't really talked about this, have they? He considers how to even start describing his world for a moment.]

My country's called Amestris, and it's run by the military. We're the most technologically advanced of our neighbors. But it's not as advanced as Johto, that's for sure. We've got electricity and phones and steam trains, but not like what's here.

[He sits down on the bed, leaning back on one hand and gesturing with the other.]

And there's alchemy, have I ever mentioned that? [He may have a few times, but not much. Although France knew what alchemy was in his own world, even if it didn't work, so Miguel might know what it is anyway.]

I've never really managed to wrap my head around what it actually is though.

It's a science. And so long as all your equations and transmutation circles are right and you've got the skill for it, you can change any matter into other matter.

Lead into gold, is what France told me people tried it for in his world. In mine that's easy enough, but illegal. So mostly it's...say the nightstand was smashed into pieces. Alchemy could put it back together like new, or change it into whatever shape you wanted. But it has to follow equivalent exchange: whatever you create has to equal the material you started with. You couldn't make the desk any bigger, or turn it into gold. Get it?

[Envy is actually very familiar with how alchemy works, even if he can't use it himself.]
