[Today when the video comes on, Envy is pushing through the tall grass and bushes outside Goldenrod. He's looking extremely frustrated, and there might be a small bit of worry there too. He's got his Tyranitar and Houndoom out; Chimera is looking around from his higher vantage point, and Lucky is sniffing at the ground and whining in distress. They're clearly searching for something, and, if you know about Envy's dislike of asking for help, have been for a while now with no success.]

[Envy turns to the camera, still scowling.] Hey, is there anyone on Route 34 who's seen a little Pokemon running around? She's called a Tropius, I think. Weird looking long-necked lizard with…leaf wings and bananas on her neck, nothing you'd see around here normally.

She just hatched a couple days ago, I'd rather find her before she gets herself eaten or something.

[A frustrated sigh.] If anybody else finds her, let me know. She might try to fight you if you do find her, but hey, I'm sure something that young shouldn't be more than anyone around here could handle. [Although Envy tried to make the tone of his request more friendly, in this mood he can't help a small sneer. He's definitely not happy about having to ask. And on that note, Envy ends the feed.]

{Nanao had heard Envy calling out, and her mothering sense had been activated. So she comes trotting down Route 34, tiny Houndour pup and not so tiny Furret at her heels.}

What is it, Envy? Did you lose something?

[Envy looks up from the patch of tall grass he was looking through when he hears Nanao. He still looks frustrated, but manages to hide most of it pretty quickly.]

Hey, Nanao. Yeah, I lost one of my Pokemon, the new one that just hatched from Easter.

Stupid thing wandered off somewhere. [Even though he says that, he's rather worried. Meanwhile, Chimera and Lucky call out greetings to the other Pokemon.]

{She trots forward at that - and as she comes into view it looks like she's... pregnant?!}

What?! Oh, no, that's terrible! What does it look like?

{Have a light slap on the shoulder for that comment.} Don't call it stupid! It's probably really scared - wouldn't you be, if you were that young?

{Shuuhei bounds forward and runs laps around Lucky, until he trips over his own paws and falls in a tangle of limbs. Hanatarou merely looks up at Chimera and waves.}

[Yeah, he definitely doubletakes at that possible pregnancy. He's wondering if he should ask, but when she asks her question he shakes his head.] She's a kind of weird looking lizard with a long neck, leaf-wings, and bananas growing under her chin. And she comes up to about my waist. Something called Tropius.

[He rubs his shoulder, frowning, when he gets smacked.] Yeah, well if she'd stayed put when I told her to she wouldn't be lost. [Envy, that's...that's not how babies work. They need to be supervised. Guess how long it took him to notice she'd wandered off, Nanao.]

[Lucky just wags his tail everywhere and sniffs at Shuuhei once he's fallen over. Hello tiny version of me!! :D

{That double-take is incredibly obvious, and she giggles at it, rubbing a hand over the bump.}

Don't worry, Envy, it's just an egg. {At the description} Oh! How lucky! They're very pretty.

{Just scowling at him now.} Envy, babies don't work like that. Especially when they are Pokemon. You need to keep an eye on them - even moreso the one that can fly.

{Shuuhei makes a squeaking sound, and playfully bats at Lucky's nose. Hello hello hello! Wow, you're so biiiig! How long did it take you to get like thaaaat? :D :D :D}

[OKAY GOOD just an egg. He was all kinds of confused about that, but now that the mystery is solved he'll let it drop.]

[That doesn't stop him from looking kind of sulkish at being scolded.] My other two never ran away, I figured this one would be the same way.

I haven't seen her fly yet, at least. But who knows, she might have figured it out. [Hand meet face. He really is very worried, and it shows.] I'll find her, though.

[Lucky sneezes at his nose being batted, and barks playfully. His old trainer was awesome and trained him to be really strong, and this newer guy trains me a lot too so he just gets bigger all the time! :D Bet you'll get big too soon!]

{Have a reproving look, Envy.} There's always an exception to the rule, Envy. You can't assume that each Pokemon will act the same as the others, simply based on what your other Pokemon have done.

I have seen other new-hatched Tropius fly before, so maybe that's what she did. {Have a reassuring hand on your shoulder.}

I'm sure you will. And I'll keep an eye out for her - my house isn't too far away, after all.

{That sneeze sends Shuuhei tumbling head over tail, and he ends up sprawled on his belly. How do you have two trainers? OHBOYOHBOY I WANNA BE BIIIIG :D :D :D}
