49th Transformation | Catch-All Post for the Nightmare Event!
[Daytime]
[Most of Envy's days in Nightmare Castle are going to be spent exploring and taking advantage of the lack of monsters to poke around, accumulate weapons for the night, and search for the sigil doors. And, of course, people to open the other two for him, whether he has to force them to or not. Too bad the door that goes with his pink sigil is harder to find…]
[On one of the later days, he will also probably need somebody to help him break out of the dungeon at least once. Somebody messed with that foreboding suit of armor in the armory and whited out, yep.]
[Nighttime]
[Envy is, let's just say a little too into killing these monsters. He's trying to avoid fights where he'll be at a distinct disadvantage, but he is doing quite a bit of fighting. He won't help anyone out unless he knows them, but he might help them as an unintended consequence of murdering those bastards who kidnapped him and took his pokemon. He's blaming them for it, anyway.]

What the hell is anything doing in this place.
[She's a little better about taking the plunge and stepping into potentially dangerous rooms than Envy is purely by virtue of her experience, so she cautiously leans in, shining her flashlight around. ... Well... it doesn't... LOOK like there's anything wrong...]
... Hm.
[She steps in.]

[He'd never admit it, at least. But in spite of him putting on a totally calm face, there's an edge of tension under it. Stupid, creepy room.]
[He pokes around at all the trinkets on the shelves, looking for anything useful.]
There's got to be something in here, with all the trouble it took.

[She makes a face as she edges past the dusty old spinning wheel, unconsciously leaning away from its spindle.]

[Envy picks up a few things on the shelves, turning them over in his hands and puts them back down in frustration at how completely useless they are. He's got a big chunk of smoky crystal in his hand when he turns towards her to ask if she's found something, and when he goes to set it down without looking...misses the shelf.]
[The crystal falls and smashes against the floor with a loud shattering sound and a puff of almost glittery dust. Envy freezes for a second, then sighs.]
Well, it's not like it was useful anyway.
[A shadow rises up from a dark corner of the room, looming into angry existence.]
[It seems to be wearing a ragged tutu.]

[MONSTERINA HAS RISEN.]
ENVY! Look out!
[She's already stepping forward.]
