[Hey, Envy's actually turning on the video feed on purpose today! He's been pretty scarce since Nanao disappeared, but these last few days of the singing Pokemon appear to have caught up with him anyway. He's grinning from ear to ear, no trace of a smirk for once, and actually looks genuinely happy, something the grand majority of Johto has probably never seen out of him. TODAY IS A WONDERFUL DAY, GUYS.]

You know, I think I like Valentine's Day.

[He laughs.] It's finally warm out, and I even got an egg this morning. Anyone know what might hatch out of one that's red and black?

[…well at least he'll be happy about having to take care of another egg for one day. And he sounds particularly pleased about the colors. He leans a little closer to the camera.]

And I've got a date tonight. [He's so happy over this. It looks so weird on him. But he's clearly very, very proud of this fact and he wants to share it with all of you because you're all his friends right? Friendship is the best!]

I think I get why this holiday's so popular now.

[Hello, Victor! It's been awhile since Archer has been in contact with you, but today we're totally the best of friends, right? The video feet cuts in to focus on Archer petting the Glaceon he recently adopted. The Pokémon seems perfectly content to nuzzle him - it seems he's been spoiling the shit out of it for a little while now.]

Good for you. Is this a recent development?

[He'd almost look intimidating if it weren't for the demented smirk. Archer never smiles. Still, he seems to be in an incredibly good mood!]

[Normally Envy would not be announcing this news to the network! But hey, Envy actually looks happy to see Bradley today. He shakes his head, looking pleased with himself.]

It's been a year today. [Yep, Envy miraculously found someone able to put up with him for that long.]

It's the only thing that's making him happy at the moment though, despite the smile on his face that says otherwise.
