Nineteenth Transformation [video/action for Ecruteak]

[The feed opens to show Chimera the Tyranitar's face taking up the whole screen. How exactly does a dinosaur work the Gear? The answer is very carefully. Either way, Chimera seems extremely upset about something.]

My trainer, he fell asleep and won't wake up! It's not like before with the Shedinjas…I would have stopped them if it was.

[Chimera turns the camera to show Envy lying face down on the ground on the outskirts of Ecruteak. It's clear that he's still breathing, but he's definitely out cold or in a very deep sleep. Some might recognize it as one of those strange comas. The camera shifts back to Chimera.]

What should I do…if he's hurt then I might make it worse trying to carry him. Can any of his human friends see this? Can someone come help?

[Well, Chimera, maybe if they could actually understand you. Still, though, despite the Pokespeak it's pretty clear what he's on about.]

[Ceiling. White ceiling. Was that a black paw just now?

Yeah there we go. Now there's an Absol's face hovering over the screen.]

That looks like what happened to my trainer a while ago...

[Chimera perks up at how this Absol sounds like it knows what it's talking about.]

Really? And your trainer woke back up?

[She tilts her head thoughtfully.]

He did. It ...took seven days. He wasn't terribly happy then, but... I'm not sure why.

Bad dreams, maybe.

But he was fine.

[Chimera nods, looking relieved to hear this.]

Thank you for telling me. I hope he'll be alright when he does wake up...

[He looks back over in Envy's direction, the camera shaking briefly as he shifts anxiously from foot to foot. But he is still much calmer now.]

What's your name?

[Chimera had been waiting and hoping that someone would arrive, and he sees France coming before he screams. But someone came to help! It's his trainer's human that he likes so much and makes him so happy! So he lets out a roar of both worry and greeting as France comes closer, heavy tail slamming once against the ground. He also takes a step back so that France can approach.]

Please don't be dead. I don't know if we can die if we're already dead, but please don't be dead -

[Chimera lowers his head apologetically when he realizes that he scared France; he still forgets a lot of the time that he's gigantic and intimidating. But when France checks Envy's pulse, he'll find one, and Envy is still breathing slow and steady. It really does look like he's asleep, but he doesn't even stir.]

[After a moment, Chimera approaches again, lowering his head to look back and forth from France to Envy sadly. You're a human so that means you can help him right?]

[The Doctor stares at the screen for a few seconds, blinking.] You know, I think I'll let Ro answer this one. I may speak many languages, but none of them are little green dinosaur.

[The Doctor moves away, and a female Sneasel takes his place.]

[Fortunately, France won't be finding any broken bones, just a few scrapes from where Envy fell.]

[Chimera sits patiently, watching France check Envy over. When it looks like he's finished, Chimera leans to lightly nudge the side of his shoulder.]

[Chimera looks a bit put out at being called little. But maybe this person and the Sneasel can help.]

I'm big enough to carry him. But I'm worried I'll hurt him when I pick him up...

Seems safe to move him.

What city are you and your trainer in? [He wonders if they might be able to help, since he's worried about hurting Envy if he tries picking him up with his claw hands. Curse you Pokemon anatomy.]

[Chimera nods, making another sad noise, and backs up a little. He lies down on his stomach to make himself seem smaller, thinking that maybe then the human might feel safer, and looks up at him in a way that almost resembles a dog.]

[Tilts her head...] The really big one after the dark forest... with lots of really tall buildings and lots of people.

[Because what are human names for towns.]

Can you grab his legs and help me carry him? I don't want to jostle him too much.

They are, and I don't know if he's already hurt.

...I could try carrying him, but I'm the only one of us out here. I think they're all still asleep back at the inn, but he always takes me with him.

[Chimera lifts himself up off his stomach at the question, and nods. He's very eager to help with getting Envy somewhere safe. He crouches over Envy's body, tilting his head as he considers how to do this without hurting Envy on his claws. There's really nothing for it except to try to be careful, so that's what he does as he leans to lift Envy's legs off the ground.]

[He tilts his head again at France, making a low sound that sort of resembles a croon. Don't worry, everything will be alright, won't it?]

{This is a Nanao. This is a Nanao with a blindfold on. This is Nanao who, even with a blindfold on, still looks shocked. Sometimes, having Psychic Pokemon who can translate is really not a good thing.}

E-envy's passed out?! W-where is he?!

[Oh! Chimera recognizes Nanao, she's one of his trainer's friends! He's upset enough over Envy being out that he doesn't think about whether she can understand him or not.]

We were just walking outside the city, on the side with the mountains...

Okay. We need to get him to the Center...

We just need to head back that way.

{Ghhhhk, she knows where that is. But at least it's not that far from the city...}

W-well, I'm sure someone will see you soon...
