[Today on Envy's 'Gear, there is a sad, worried Riolu face looking at everyone. Once it's on, Samus shifts the camera over to show Envy lying still on the bed, eyes half open and staring at nothing. Her trainer hasn't woken up yet, you guys, what if he just vanishes like her last two? So much distress here. Also in view are an extremely forlorn Tyranitar laying by the bed and taking up the entire space next to it, with his head resting next to Envy's shoulder. A Vaporeon is curled on Envy's chest, and a Luxray, Houndoom, and Arbok are all trying their very best to also fit on the bed despite collectively being about 300 pounds of giant cobra and dog and lion. It's kind of a wonder they all haven't managed to smother him yet.]

[But then, wait! Envy's head twitches to the side, and a small frown appears on his face. Seconds later, his eyes fly open and he jerks upright a few inches with a sharp intake of breath. Then he falls right back against the pillow, breathing heavily and his eyes still wide.]

..this is real?

[Chimera moves first. And for the next minute or so, all anyone would be able to see is a lot of fur and scales while Envy's pokemon loudly mob him with affection.]

HEY! Calm down all of you--Xerxes, no grooming, I've told youTAAAR [THONK] Ow, damn it Chimera be careful--

[And so on, until finally Envy manages to get them at least calm enough that he can grab the forgotten 'Gear himself. Despite his protests, though, he doesn't seem to have minded too much. He looks wary and completely worn out despite having just slept for a full week, hair going every which way even more than usual (especially the patch in front that fell victim to concerned lion grooming), and decidedly relieved to be out of those nightmares. In a moment, though, he's hidden most of that under a grin.]

Well, I'm back.

[He hesitates, very briefly.] Who else has woken back up?

Heh, I'm surprised they liked mine so much.

[He hesitates, but figures he might as well ask.] How's France doing?

[That earns Envy a somewhat curious look, but he isn't about to pry.]

I'm not sure whether to be relieved or insulted that I'm shunned even by starving Pokemon.

[He looks away awkwardly, his expression falling at the question.]

No change, I'm afraid. I'll be heading back out again in a short while though.

Eh, I'd go with relieved for not having to deal with a lot of crazy dreams.

[Envy frowns at the news, twisting his fingers in his blanket.] Well, if I woke up he will too.

...I could go too. I owe the damn things some payback. [Probably not a good idea, considering Envy's current condition.]

Yes, I suppose that suits well enough.

[That earns a curious look, but he'll be told if people want to tell him, he supposes.]

Of course he will wake up. He's too stubborn to do anything else.

[Sometimes England is convinced that France clings to existence just to spite the rest of the world.]

You've only just woken up so perhaps you should spend today convincing your Pokemon that you aren't going to collapse again. If you want to, I'll grab some more of the special Pokeballs and bring them by tomorrow.

[Unfortunately, Envy doesn't know England well enough to really elaborate right now, considering the nature of the dreams. He is grateful that England didn't press the issue, though.]

Heh, he is stubborn. But that can be a good quality to have in this sort of situation.

[Envy frowns at the advice to stay in bed and looks like he's going to protest, because sometimes he is just ridiculously impatient and even moreso when he's worried like this. But then Chimera nudges his shoulder and rumbles worriedly and he appears to relent. For the moment, anyway. Watch him try to go out later.] I'd be fine, but guess I should. Don't want to get kicked out of the Center for this zoo running around causing trouble.

...Thanks, though. That'd help.

It is. He always manages to survive somehow.

[It had been a thorn in his side for many centuries, but now he was glad for it and hoped that it saw France through the occupation.

He smiles slightly at the Pokemon nudging him.]

Of course. And if you need anything else, let me know. The nurses are a bit strict with what they'll supply.
