I think every living creature has a soul. How it's taught in my world is that your soul is your life essence, an indicator of your health and sort of a life compass; emotions, morals and intuition. I can't quite comprehend the idea of something that's alive and conscious of their life not having a soul?

If you didn't have one before coming here, then
[...] is it possible that you're not alive or that you were created by someone lacking the capability to give you a soul?

Sorry, I know that's prying. But what exactly does it mean to you whether or not you have a soul?
